Smodcastle Foundation (“the Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 99-0843456). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website (smodcastlefoundation.org), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described below.

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, and message when you use our contact form, or your email address when you sign up for our newsletter.
• Donation information — our donation form is processed by GivingFuel, a third-party donation platform. Payment details (such as card numbers) are collected and processed directly by GivingFuel; we do not collect or store your payment information on our own servers.
• Usage and analytics information — such as pages visited, time on site, browser and device type, and approximate location, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized/aggregated usage data. We also use Vercel Analytics, our hosting provider’s built-in analytics, for similar purposes.

Our site links to or embeds content from third-party services, including GivingFuel (donations), Google Analytics, and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. While some of our educational programs are designed for young people, this website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site.
